I think Daria might have one of those '99 level max' things, and I was thinking that maybe use like 400-500 levels...but make it a bit easier to level the first 100 or so levels, then 200 gets a bit difficult, then 300 is hard, an gettin to 500 is near impossible...A bit unique i guess

wow, that would be kinda funny, someone plays to level 100, and there like, woot, im there, then a lvl 500 runs by...

nota bad idea imo.

The gains in each level would have to be miniscual therefore making "leveling" a tedious and drawn out process. I like the idea though. Being level 100 would be cool.

Personally, I'd rather see it take a LOT to make even one level, and make each level mean something. Otherwise it's just an excuse for big numbers.

yeah, good point, i take back what i said earlier, it would make more sense to have a lower level cap, then you could become competitve in pvp way faster, incase the whole towns and religion stuff ever get implemeneted.

i say no level limit but a really hard level so u dont reach the limit and say "screw this i beat the game i cant improve anymore" and quit playing... so i think just have relaly hard lvls after 100 so no one reaches the limit.

I personally feel there should be no level cap at all, just limits to exp gain.

Example: you hit lvl 110 your exp requirement to level should be in rediculous proportions that would take weeks to achieve even on the highest of enemies.
This would prevent the older player from just leaving and also make sure that there arn't a bunch of lvl 1000's running around.

(Just my opinion though)

Levels are abstract, jeez.

There is no ideal max level, it's merely a matter of how much difference each level makes.

Max level is the top of a stairwell. How many steps you want on the way there is up to you, but the height remains the same.

Any level cap would mean a dead-end for that player. As we've seen before, unless that level-cap is notoriously hard to reach, players will start bottling up. There needs to be a way round this.
