If you remember me, you may remember my old sig - regardless, I re-made it and improved upon the old one where I saw flaws.

(look at sig)

Oh yeah, my efforts in this thread inspired me to make a pseudo-logo-symbol for the world/land of Daria (not for the game - but for the ficticious place referenced by the game.. get it?). Not that I actually expect it to be used or anything, but it cured some boredom I was having earlier. Enjoy!

All criticisms welcome Wink

girl power!

I think it'd look better without shading, but right now you have a nice clean look down.

Is it really that girly? I was just going with the current colour scheme and embellishing the 'D' with some plant life to bring a nature theme into it.

As far as the shading goes, both the sun and the 'D' are more saturated at the edges and less saturated towards the center, but I meant to make the shading in the 'D' more subtle, like the shading of the sun (which is almost unnoticeable, unless you're looking).

Thank you for the kind words. I'll tinker with it a bit more. Smile

Edit: Didn't take long to get something a bit smoother; I like this one a lot better. vvv

It's very nice! I think it would be nice if the 'D' had a defined border and if the leaves were green... but at the same time, I have odd taste.

Thank you for commenting Smile

I had played a bit with stroking the 'D' - but, the idea I had was to make it look like a letter seal. The leaves have the appearance that that are wrapped around and/or growing from the letter itself, and the border killed that illusion. Same goes for the coloring of the leaves. I just wanted something that I could visualize in wax - the sun in the background being something I added so the symbol would have something to contrast against, say, on a flag, shirt, or embroidered patch. So, I'm happy enough with this image as it stands, but I do appreciate your feedback.

Edit: My sig is jealous of the 'D' logo; it's getting all the attention. lol.

The original Yetie, yes. Hence, why I made the new one.
