jellocube,
I think once the game is out, your eye will get used to Darian graphics real quick and you won't notice those small "inconsistencies". And while playing you usually don't spend lots of time contemplating the surroundings Razz Though I agree that the GUI looks a bit raw.. the portrait in the dialogue seems misplaced and the minimap colours could be a bit milder. And I hope they'll change the cursor.. it looks too amateurish. Maybe start another player contest for the best cursor? Smile

Wow, that really sucks...
Didnt think anyone besides devs would be seeing the GUI before it was done.
Its at about 20-30% in those screenshots.

I feel like the artist whos work was seen before it was done Sad

Sorry if I was too harsh, dev team!

I realize that you are still working on this quite progressively, and these screenshots aren't what we may see when the game is released. I just meant to give picky criticism on what you could go back and tidy up a bit after you'ore done with the core material.

I didn't mean to point out something and say "this mushroom blows. Fix it, wench, or your game will suck."

Keep up the good work.

Eponick, I like the GUI ^_^ all the buttons aren't added yet, though, so it looks a little bare. Don't redo it, it looks grand!

@jello - I was explaining to Eponick & Kinten that you were looking at the screenshots from a designers perspective not a gamers perspective. I do that occasionally too when I look at a new title coming out.

@Eponick - your work is fine. To my knowledge there are many great artist/musician pieces that are out in the world unfinished. Mozart's Requiem I believe was the piece he was writing before his death. Unfinished but argueably one of the greatest and most moody classical works ever produced and if it was finished it would've changed music today. So no worries about your unfinished art shown Wink

Awesome that's just what i needed! Thanks! Laughing

The only things i can can complain about is the cursor and the minimap. I allso want the gaming window(or what ever you call it) to be less rectangular, i want all sides to be equaly long or close to equaly long.
It's not verry realistic if you can see better in some directions(i know you can scroll the wiew but you can still see better in whose directions). We just wan't to help you make a better game

But once again, thanks for that hard work! And keep up the good work!

Well not only are there alot of missing buttons and such but there are still 2 more windows and 5 tabs down at the bottom area not put in yet.
Also I havnt done the MiniMap anti-aliasing and I also hadnt fixed a few coord problems yet in that picture, though they are fixed now.

And trust me Jello, I see alot more errors in those pictures than you. When I make something all I see are the errors Razz
Like I said thats about 20-30% done and I just didnt expect a screenshot released.

Bunnies were 50 exp if I remember. Anyways, it's very nice, sure the Minimap looks very nice bright, but it's nothing you can't get over.

PLenty of minor deatails there that won't affect gameplay as far as I am concerned.
