I think there should be special events like battles and whatnot. I thought it was exciting/interesting when those clans (I know fear was there, dont know who else) were in Hope and they were fighting. So maybe every couple months theres should like a tournament and the winning clan gets some money or armor.

Interesting idea,

There are some thoughts being bounced around, about this some. Not in general clan stuff but other areas. I can't comment on this as of yet as everything is in a constant flux of change and adjustment right now.

But I will keep this idea in mind for tournaments etc with clans.

Clan battles are dull if they're done just for a prize set by developers or admins. In my opinion it's much better to let the community handle the wars and keep the devs in their cages. :b

I like the idea of seasonal battles, but we'd need to find a way to make it interesting as Ruis has illustrated. May be we could have it as a tournament, or have special monsters to be on the battlefield for such events, the possibilities to aid in the interestingness of a clan battle could be endless. Guild/Clan houses for example

I just thought of something when Gazeibo said monsters on the battlefield. Remember when akarra was going down and the admins sent all those monsters to hope? That would work too, having every player work together to kill it.

A common reason for PvP is that the monsters don't offer enough intellectual challenge. I don't think that's the solution. Wink

Enq- Very true... BUT that suggestion was more to create more diversity on the battlefield, may be traps or craters where monsters may lirk and leap out when you approach, limiting people from running away when on low health creating the need for better clerics.. sort of like in the film 'Gladiator' when Maxis was fighting the emperor and couldn't approach the tigers. This could effectively lead to better gameplay, and tactics in the PvP arena with booby traps and areas where monsters 'may' lirk.

Why cant we just beat the living sh*t out of eachother whenever we decide to? Thats always way more fun, just make war cheaper than it was in WiA, if you decide to make it cost at all.

This guy is a diplomat alright! Lmao.

Well, i like Gazeibo's idea about being there being trapped creatures. I.e. tied against a wall, and will attack you if you're so near. But if you move away it can't get you because it's tied up.

Could be a way to stop people fleeing battles?
