What If when you muted one char from a person it muted all their alts, But you don't have a list of people alts. That way you wouldn't know who each person on there alt was but you would know if you had a problem with them cause they would be muted

That way, you will be able to test by muting/un-muting players and figure out the person behind the character. For example, if you only have one player muted, you will know directly as this person enters Daria with another character that it is the same person.

Yeah well, I guess you have a point. But then, some other people might talk to the muted one, and you wouldn't be able to understand anything of the conversation, since you only get half of it. It will really play tricks on your mind, and you will probably understand that this person actually is talking to someone you muted. The question is who? Heh. Rolling Eyes

I'm posting more from a clan leader's rather than a roleplayer's perspective when I repeat that I want to be able to identify people with an account number or something, and with that, I'll leave it to the developers to decide whether clans or roleplaying is more important in this matter. Au revoir.

I never were a fan of secret identities. Saw it in Dransik way too much, and it was hell.

Roleplaying can be done without /finger you know. What the hell does it change if you know the guy in some other way?

The only people that really benefit from this kind of system are trolls who like to cause chaos, spy other clans, etc.

Adding account names and not character names to the Friends List? I completely agree. Or an account number of course.

Redguy, says: "Joh, your kicked out of the guild, i never wan see u again!"
Joh, says: "Alright then."
*Joh left the world*
*Character Joh is deleted*
*New character Blueguy joins the world*
Blueguy, says: "Oh LOL, Redguy we almost have da same name!?!?"
Redguy, says: "Cool! join my guild k?"

Rolling Eyes Could happen anytime.. Seen it numberous times.

I believe this issue is a double bladed sword swiniging around like a pendulum.

On one side, it's good to know that when someone pisses the hell out of you, he can't just get onto an alt and start annoying you again.

On the other side(mostly for Rp), it's nice to keep your character anonymous from people who do not know you roleplaying wise.

This could maybe be resolved by how the friend list would work. Imagine tabs like Friend (List for accounts and shows the player name regardless of what player he is using), Banned (List of accounts you have muted/ignored) and Players (List of player you character knows). The first 2 lists would be common to your whole account and the third one unique to your character.

I personnaly have experience the negative side of this, with people like deathboy.

But as for the Roleplaying aspect, I am personnaly able to get over it. ie:
Reyder has entered Akarra
/t Reyder Hey man, how are ya.
(In Hope)
Who are you, I don't believe ever seeing you here.
