well, with the xp system, a lvl 15 doing a lvl 2 quest may only recieve a 50xp and 15g, where advancement to lvl 3 req maybe 400xp, but lvl 15 to lvl 16 may require 2200xp, so if anyone did random quest up to level 15 then do important quests, they're really not gaining anything at all, and they would've spent all that time without skills that would've been helpful. similar to morrowind, if you powerlevel yourself to lvl 15 before even starting the main quest, you'll blow through everything, but the reward you recieve won't be nearly as useful as it would've been at lvl 3.

Instead of having a lvl cap on some quests, why not just have the experience percent the same. Like if you complete a quest, 10% of your experience bar fills up, and of course, the experience changes with it. It would be the same for all characters so no one would have to miss out on some important quests.

If you just make it so that Any wuest you do gives you 10% of your Exp bar, People will just level up normally and once they reach high levels where it takes like 1 million+ exp to level they will do the quest and gain the 10% exp.

Yeah, you'd need to have the quest difficulty increase proportionally to the reward. And make sure that if you take the quest at level 1 (kill 15 rabbits), and then claim the reward at level 100 (where the quest would have been to kill 15 Tarians), the reward would still be 10% of the exp between level 1 and level 2. Even then, I'm sure there would be some abuse, if not only finding the level at which the quest yields the most experience for the least effort.

have a set amount of xp per quest, such as 10xp for a newbie quest, then while it takes maybe 100xp for a level 1 and would be useful, it would take 1000+xp for lvl 15, making 10 xp not nearly as useful, so why wait?
