Heh, sorry. I'll try to explain it better:

In akarra, when you moved around you would block the square in the world that you were standing on (ie, you block your "cell"). In Daria, you have a "blocking circle" around you instead, which means that you don't block a whole cell (and it's possible to stand "between" cells and not just in the middle of them).

But if you look on the pictures you posted in the first post there are only 8 different directions and not 32 Wink

The world will stlll be built up by squares, right?
Will the squares be ether walkable or non-walkable?
Or, can make part the square walkable and another part non-walkable?
For example a tree, the steam of the tree won't block the whole square, just a radius inside it and you should be able to walk on that square exept for the blocked radius.
Like this:

XXXXXXX
XXXXXXX
XXXXOXX
XXXXXXX

You can walk on X and O is blocked by a tree

And if we do like this, you could be able to walk between the trees

XXXXXXX
XXXXXXX
OXXXXO
XXXXXXX

No, a tree will still block the whole cell. Too difficult to design world sprites otherwise.

Nope. I am 99.99999% sure it is not java. I am pretty sure it is C++ or something, but who knows since I am not a coder. Razz

The client is coded in C++ using DirectX and maybe OpenGL. The server is currently being developed in Java, yes.
